BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse Restaurant Visit

I recently posted about BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse's gluten free offerings.  After an exhausting day in the library (and by that I mean, an exhausting trip to Babycakes), my friend Hilary and I ventured over into the heart of enemy territory -- you know, the enemy that we recently passed in university rankings and whose football team is generally terrible -- to check out BJ's.

We ordered the gluten free thin crust pizza with artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes, and garlic.  It came out pretty quickly and we were both excited to dig in.

Both Hilary and I really enjoyed the pizza.  It's a thin-crust pizza unlike BJ's normal offerings of deep dish, but the crust was really delicious.  We also paired it really with our toppings.  Hilary was definitely surprised by how good the pizza was.  It's always nice to have a friend who doesn't mind trying your gluten free food and, even more, having one who actually enjoys it with you!

Perhaps the best part of all was the price: it was only $11.95 for the gluten free pizza!  That's right, no additional surcharge for being gluten free, no jacked up prices... it's amazing!  The restaurant also serves up Redbridge for only $4.50 -- also super cheap.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is a great family restaurant with an awesome gluten free pizza.  I can't comment on how knowledgeable the staff is about other gluten free options on the menu, as the gluten free Thin Crust pizza is on the restaurant's main menu.  The staff, however, did know enough to inform me that the restaurant makes its gluten free pizzas on separate equipment that is thoroughly cleaned before each use.

Do you love it or do you love it?
