I find this quote to be most interesting: "What has changed in the environment in the last 30 years?" [Dr. Alessio] Fasano said. "We have more antibiotics, more vaccinations, bioengineered foods, chemicals we haven't been exposed to, and pollutants that haven't been around in the concentrations that we have now."]
Horribly true. After reading Eating Animals this summer, I'm much more watchful of what I'm eating. It's an interesting/scary read -- read at your own risk!
