That picture is unfortunately from an old box; the new boxes prominently display "Gluten Free" on their fronts.
Even better than this news is the news that MyBlogSpark has offered to do a giveaway to my readers! They will be giving away one box of Create-A-Bug gummies, one variety box containing Fruit Roll-Ups, Fruit by the Foot, and Gushers, a classic frisbee, light up yo-yo, and pick up sticks.

How do you enter? Just leave a comment on this blog entry with your favorite gluten free childhood snack. If your favorite childhood snack was not gluten free, how would you eat it now in a gluten free way? I'll draw all of the entries randomly on October 10th, '09. Unfortunately, this contest is only open to those in the contiguous 48 states -- those are MyBlogSpark's rules, not mine!
I look forward to your entries!
Do you love it or do you love it?

These weren't around when I was a kid but I'm a sucker for an EnvironKidz Peanut Choco Drizzle bar! Oh, and their Gorilla Munch cereal is really good too.
Apple slices and Jif peanut butter. They still never let me down!
Also: I will be out of town the weekend of the tasting but If I could make it, I'd be there. I hope you do it again sometime!
i used to LOVE fruit by the foot when i was a kid :)
i -hated- the carrot sticks my mom insisted on putting in my lunch and consistently traded them for the fruit roll-ups other kids got. for them, carrots were apparently a novelty and not a bothersome lunchbox reality...
DUNKAROOS!!! A snack that enourages frosting on cookies speaks to the heart. No idea how I'd gluten-free that exact snack but frosting and cookies that were gluten free would seem appropriate!
A delicious dessert for all: flourless chocolate torte! Rich chocolate so it doesn't sacrifice taste...yumm!
EnviroKidz products were always my fave. Their cereals and crispy rice bars... so dang good.

I was a lover of ants on a log -- celery w/pb and raisins placed carefully along it -- like little ants marching in a row. ;)
We love making chex mix now that Chex are GFree. We love Betty Crocker fruit snacks, and the kids love to eat Glutino pretzels with peanut butter for dipping.
My 3 kids would love to win a great #gfree prize pack. We pack so many snacks in the fall and winter for playgroups and snacks between classes/activities that having different things to choose from is always exciting.
i loved french fries! not nutritious but delicious!
French fries dipped in a Wendy's frosty! Mmmmm!
hm...my favorite would have to be Icelandic pancakes filled with cream and jelly! Yummm. I will have to find a gluten free flour to replace the regular flour.
